Zhao Jinxiang Carries Out Business Activities in the Middle East

From February 19 to 28, Zhao Jinxiang, president of CRIG, visited the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Saudi Arabia to carry out business activities. He met with Cui Wei, Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, He Song, Minister-Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and held talks with Hussein Jasim, Director of the State Commission for Roads and Bridges and Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail Company of the United Arab Emirates.

On February 21, Zhao Jinxiang held talks with Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail. Zhao Jinxiang thanked the company and CEO Shadi for their long-term care and support for the project construction. He said that CRIG has effectively leveraged its integrated advantages in the field of engineering construction to create high-quality projects and contribute to the construction of transportation infrastructure in the UAE. He hoped that the two sides would continue to  promote the smooth implementation of the project. Shadi said that the company will continue to support project construction, strengthen communication and coordination,  and strengthen potential cooperation to continuously expand fruitful.results.

On February 20, Zhao Jinxiang held talks with H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak , Chairman of Aldar Company of the UAE, and Dr. Eng. Ahmed Al Sharafi, General Manager of Gulf Contractors Co. (GCC).. Zhao Jinxiang introduced the basic situation of CRIG, overseas business layout, project implementation in the UAE and the company's development. He expressed that CRIG will give full play to the company's professional advantages to participate in relevant infrastructure projects and achieve win-win cooperation. The two sides had in-depth communication and exchanges on strengthening cooperation in infrastructure construction, industrial manufacturing and other fields, and reached a broad consensus.

From February 19 to 20, Zhao Jinxiang conducted on-site investigations and inspections on the construction of the Etihad Railway Station Project and Abu Dhabi Central Island Avenue 1B Project under construction by the company, listened to reports on project schedules and key promotion measures. He then made some requirements on the following work.

Business Activities in Iraq

On February 24, Zhao Jinxiang met with Cui Wei, Chinese Ambassador to Iraq. Zhao Jinxiang introduced the reform and development of CRIG, the company's business development in Iraq and the performance of projects. Zhao Jinxiang said that CRIG will steadily promote the high-quality performance of projects under construction and continue to explore the country market with the goal of local integration and development and win-win cooperation with local parties. During his stay in Iraq, Zhao Jinxiang held talks with Hussein Jasim, Director of the State Commission for Roads and Bridges, to communicate and exchange views on further promoting the implementation of the Baghdad Nisour Three-Dimensional Transportation Project.

On the morning of the 27th, Zhao Jinxiang met with He Song, Minister Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Department of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia. Zhao Jinxiang introduced to Minister Counselor He Song the basic situation of CREC, its overseas business layout, business development in the Middle East, and follow-up of Saudi projects.
