On the afternoon of October 31, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, held talks with Jozef Ráž, Minister of Transport of the Slovak Republic. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and reached broad consensus on strengthening cooperation on key projects and promoting the market development of infrastructure construction in Slovakia.
Bi Yanchun expressed his sincere welcome to Minister Jozef Ráž and his delegation for their second visit to CRIG. He recalled Minister Jozef Ráž's visit to CREC Headquarters in May this year to discuss cooperation and exchange on key projects, and said that CRIG has earnestly implemented the guiding principles of the talks and organized cost, design, and manufacturing professionals to conduct on-site research and inspection on key projects, fully demonstrating the good intention of CRIG to participate in Slovakia's infrastructure construction. He said that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Slovakia. Minister Jozef Ráž's visit to China as a member of Slovak Prime Minister's delegation and his second visit to CRIG are of great significance to deepening the cooperation and exchange between the two sides and promoting key projects. CRIG will conduct in-depth exchanges with the Slovak Ministry of Transport and relevant partners to promote new progress in key projects. Under the leadership of the two governments, it will promote high-quality BRI cooperation and China-Central and Eastern European countries cooperation, to contribute to the pragmatic and friendly cooperation between China and Slovakia.
Jozef Ráž expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from CRIG. He said that his visit to CREC in May this year to hold talks on cooperation on key projects laid a solid cornerstone for the cooperation between the two sides, and the implementing measures by both sides have been fruitful. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He hopes that CREC will give full play to its advantages in the entire industrial chain in terms of business scale, technical strength, equipment manufacturing and internationalization, deeply participate in the infrastructure construction in Slovakia to contribute to the friendly cooperation between the two countries. He invited the working group of CREC to visit Slovakia again for research and inspection to jointly promote new progress in key projects.
