Bi Yanchun Holds Talks with Brad Davey, Managing Director of Leighton Asia

On the morning of October 29, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, held talks with Brad Davey, Managing Director of Leighton Asia. The two sides had pragmatic and in-depth exchanges on project cooperation in Hong Kong and other overseas markets, and reached broad consensus.

Bi Yanchun extended a warm welcome to Brad Davey and his delegation, and briefly introduced the centennial development history, business sectors, industry status and overseas development of CREC. He said that CREC has a significant industry position in the fields of railways and urban rail transit, and has implemented many landmark projects along the Belt and Road including the China-Laos Railway, the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, and the Belgrade-Budapest Railway. At the same time, it has accumulated rich experience in extra-large bridges, long and large tunnels, electrified railways, etc. Leighton Asia has implemented a series of major projects in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. It is familiar with international standards, has a high degree of internationalization and advanced management capabilities. There is broad space for cooperation between the two parties. CRIG is willing to work with Leighton Asia to give full play to their respective advantages and continue to strengthen communication and docking based on existing cooperation. Based on the Hong Kong regional market, the two sides will actively explore cooperation opportunities in construction, investment, mergers and acquisitions and other fields in the global market, including Southeast Asia, to promote deeper and more practical cooperation between the two parties and help both parties achieve sustainable development.

Brad Davey deeply admired the brilliant development history and achievements of CREC, expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception of CRIG, and introduced the company's performance and development. He said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Leighton Asia. The company has accumulated rich experience in project management and performance, cultivated an international excellent management team, and is committed to providing professional services and solutions to Owners. Leighton Asia looks forward to establishing a long-term partnership with CREC and CRIG, combining Leighton Asia's localized management experience with CREC's professional technical capabilities in large projects, and carrying out pragmatic cooperation in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and other regions to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
