Jin Liqun, President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Inspects CRIG’s Branch in the Middle East

On the afternoon of October 28, Jin Liqun, President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, visited CRIG branch in the Middle East to conduct research and discussions, and inspected the company's ongoing Etihad Railway Station project in the United Arab Emirates.

During the research seminar, the representative of CRIG reported on CRECs global business layout and key projects in the Middle East. He expressed that in the future, with the support of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, CREC will give full play to its own comprehensive service advantages of an entire industrial chain, participate in infrastructure construction in the Middle East and other regions at a high level, and contribute corporate strength to the "hard connectivity" of international infrastructure and the people-to-people bonds between China and other BRI countries.  

Jin Liqun spoke highly of CREC's industry status, professional strength, and important contributions in the field of infrastructure construction. He said that the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank adheres to the concept of open and inclusive cooperation and is committed to providing more extensive financial support and technical assistance for global infrastructure construction. He expects CREC and CRIG to seize the new opportunities brought by the BRI cooperation, continue to give play to the technological advantages and market competitiveness, and play an active role in large-scale infrastructure construction, ecological and environmental protection and other fields, to make greater contributions to achieving common prosperity and sustainable development. The seminar also exchanged and discussed the "going global" of Chinese standards, the political and business environment of overseas projects, , and the difficulties and problems faced by enterprises in expanding their overseas business.  

During the visit, Jin Liqun and his delegation went to the Etihad Railway Station project in the United Arab Emirates for inspection and research, and learned about the projects overview, cooperation model and progress. He fully affirmed the project's work in site management, construction organization and safety assurance, and highly praised the contributions made by CRECs builders to work overseas, fulfill their mission and participate in the "Belt and Road" construction with high quality.
