From March 5 to 11, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, and his delegation visited Chile and Bolivia to carry out a series of business activities. He met with Chinese Ambassador to Chile, Niu Qingbao and Ambassador to Bolivia, Wang Liang, held talks with the heads of Chile's Andes Iron and Bolivia's Belmonte Ingenieros SRL, and inspected the ongoing construction projects.
On March 6, Bi Yanchun met with Chinese Ambassador to Chile, Niu Qingbao. Bi Yanchun expressed his sincere gratitude to the Embassy and Ambassador for their long-term guidance and support to CRIG in Chile and introduced the latest progress of key projects in Chile. He said that on behalf of CREC, CRIG will give full play to its advantages in the field of infrastructure construction and contribute to the amity and economic and trade exchanges between the two countries. Ambassador Niu Qingbao affirmed the achievements of CRIG in Chile and hoped that CRIG would solidly promote the construction of key projects, effectively integrate into local market, and contribute to the friendship between the two countries.
On March 10, Bi Yanchun met with Chinese Ambassador to Bolivia Wang Liang. Bi Yanchun thanked the Embassy and Ambassador Wang Liang for their long-term guidance and assistance to CRIG in Bolivia, which has enhanced the company's image and promoted the local development of the company. He said that the company will continue to finely construct the highway project and the Zinc Refinement Foundry project in Oruro, and continue to promote cultural exchanges between China and Bolivia. Ambassador Wang Liang highly appreciated the participation of CRIG(on behalf of CREC) in the construction of major projects, and hoped that CRIG would give full play to the company's advantages in the entire industrial chain, serve as a communication and exchange platform between Chinese and Bolivian companies, and promote the development of China-Bolivia friendship.
During the visit, Bi Yanchun held talks with the heads of local enterprises. During the talks with Pedro Ducci, President of Andes Iron, the two sides had in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on the development and cooperation of Chile's smart city projects. When meeting with Miguel Grandi, President of Belmonte Ingenieros SRL, they exchanged views and reached broad consensus on deepening cooperation in ongoing projects and expanding business in neighboring countries.
During the stay, Bi Yanchun and his delegation also conducted in-depth researches on the ongoing projects in Chile and Bolivia.
