Date:06-03-2025

From June 2 to 3, local time, Engineer Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, inspected MBZ and Fujairah Railway Station projects in Abu Dhabi, which are being constructed by CRIG. Shadi Malak and his delegation inspected the construction progress, learned about the details of  the curtain wall, hall, basement of MBZ station and the bridge, platform and main structure of Fujairah Station, and inquired about the construction plan of the key and difficult sections of the project. After the inspection, he fully affirmed the progress of the project construction and the achievements of safety, quality and localization management.

The Etihad Railway Station Project is the first project contracted by a CREC member company in the Middle East under a D&B (Design and Build) model. As of the end of May, roofing work of the project’s 3 large and medium-sized stations, i.e. Abu Dhabi MBZ Station, Dubai EXPO Station, and FUJAIRAH Station, was completed. The project construction has been highly recognized by the Employer.

Throughout the construction, CRIG has integrated international and standardized management by carefully studying and strictly implementing local rules and regulations. As a result, it has ensured one-time approval and achieved standardized and efficient construction. To overcome the limited construction space and challenges of multi-work implementation,  the three-dimensional model of BIM technology is applied to effectively integrate and manage the spatial information, in order to enhance the construction progress and resource allocation, greatly improving the efficiency.CRIG has also stepped up the training of site workers to strengthen efficient collaboration and meticulous management.

To promote exchanges and communication among the multinational staff from the UAE, China, Egypt, Pakistan, India, etc., their different cultural customs are equally respected while being invited to experience one another’s culture.

In the future, CRIG will continue to improve the quality of its products and services, complete the project construction with high quality and efficiency, and deepen its roots in the local area to promote integrated development, with a view to enhancing the local economic and social development and people's livelihood.
