The Nisour Multimodal Transport Hub Project is the largest initiative among a batch of transportation infrastructure projects—including bridges, roads and overpasses—launched by the Iraqi government in 2023. During the project implementation period, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Hijau al-Sudani led his team to conduct on-site inspections six times and expressed satisfaction with the project’s progress, safety standards, quality control, as well as environmental and water conservation efforts.
