Zimbabwes Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube Visits CRIG

On June 26th, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, and Shi Yuan, President of China Railway Resources Group (CRRG), held talks at CRIG headquarters with Mthuli Ncube, Zimbabwe's Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, who was on a visit. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the progress of key projects, promotion plans, and strengthening practical cooperation in multiple fields, and reached broad consensus. 

Bi Yanchun warmly welcomed Minister Ncube and his delegation, and sincerely thanked the Zimbabwean government for its long-term care and support for CREC. He noted that Zimbabwe has significant resource endowments and huge potential for infrastructure development, providing broad space for cooperation. He expressed hope to further deepen practical cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win development, adding that CRIG will fully leverage CREC's whole-industry-chain advantages to participate in high-quality infrastructure construction, mineral resource development, and other fields in Zimbabwe.

Minister Ncube highly appreciated CREC's remarkable achievements in infrastructure construction and mineral resource development. He stated that CREC's professionalism and sincerity in advancing key projects of mutual concern have been highly recognized by Zimbabwe's top leadership and government ministries. The Zimbabwean government will continue to strongly support the implementation of key cooperation projects and looks forward to further deepening communication and exchanges with CRIG to jointly contribute to Zimbabwe's economic and social development and improvement of people's well-being.

Prior to the talks, Minister Ncube and his delegation visited CREC's  Cultural Exhibition Hall. He highly praised CREC's development achievements, expressed admiration for the company's profound historical heritage, outstanding technical capabilities, and rich management experience, and voiced full confidence in the future cooperation prospects between the two sides in various fields.
