From July 9th to 11th, Dr. Hazem Ismail Mobarek, President of YAS Company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), visited CRIG. Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, and Zhao Jinxiang, President of CRIG, held in-depth discussions with Dr. Mobarek and his delegation on the implementation of ongoing joint projects and the deepening of business cooperation in the UAE. They reached important consensus and signed cooperation documents.
On July 9th, Bi Yanchun held talks with Dr. Mobarek. He warmly welcomed Dr. Mobarek and his delegation, thanked YAS Company for its strong support in the implementation of Phase 1B of the Abu Dhabi Middle Island Boulevard project, and stated that CRIG will fully leverage its technological and management advantages, strengthen on-site resource allocation, and promote cooperation between the two parties at a higher level and in broader areas.
Dr. Mobarek expressed gratitude for CRIG's warm reception and satisfaction with the progress and results of the Phase 1B project jointly advanced by both sides. He urged both parties to further focus on in-depth cooperation in the tunnel sector, continuously strengthen the building of their cooperative brand, and work together to establish a localized and sustainable tunnel industry system in the UAE, leading the development of the country's tunnel industry.
On July 10th, Bi Yanchun accompanied Dr. Mobarek and his delegation to visit the Beijing Urban Sub-Center Station transportation hub project, which is currently under construction by CREC. They conducted on-site exchanges on the application of BIM technology in major engineering projects.
During the visit, Zhao Jinxiang and Dr. Mobarek organized an expert roundtable for tunnel construction. The two sides had in-depth discussions on reducing tunnel construction costs, building a localized tunnel industry system, cultivating local tunnel technical talents, improving risk management, applying new materials, and promoting Chinese standards, and reached consensus on optimizing development directions.
During the visit, Dr. Mobarek and his delegation also toured CREC's Cultural Exhibition Hall. They expressed admiration for CREC's profound historical heritage, outstanding technical capabilities, rich management experience, and remarkable development achievements, praised CREC's leading strength in the tunnel sector, and expressed full confidence in the future of bilateral cooperation.
