A Review of CREC's Contribution to the Construction of China-Laos Railway

On December 3, 2024, China-Laos Railway celebrated its 3rd anniversary of opening.

According to reports, as of October 31, 2024, China-Laos Railway has handled a total of 41.5 million passenger trips and 46.5 million tons of goods, becoming a convenient and efficient golden channel for international logistics between China and ASEAN, and a road of happiness, development and friendship for the people along the line.

During the construction of China-Laos Railway, CRIG coordinated and organized the participating construction and design parties of CREC to complete the survey and design, construction, electrification, track laying, and key works of the 257 km railway section between Botan and Vientiane.
