From September 18 to 20, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, went to Mongolia to carry out a series of business activities. He met with Gantumur Luvsannyam, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia, Delgersaikhan Borkhuu, Minister of Transport Development, and Shen Minjuan, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, had in-depth exchanges on major projects promoted by the company and Mongolia, and reached important consensus.
On September 18, Bi Yanchun paid a visit to Gantumur Luvsannyam, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia. Bi Yanchun briefly introduced CREC’s history, global business layout, advantages, and business development in Mongolia. He said that in recent years, CREC has deepened cooperation and exchanges with relevant Mongolian ministries and enterprises, continued to explore local market, and invested in and built a series of representative infrastructure projects in Mongolia. CRIG is willing to give full play to CREC’s advantages of an entire industrial chain in the field of transportation infrastructure, and maintain active and close communication with the Mongolian government and relevant enterprises in order to participate in the construction of major projects and to promote interconnection and achieve win-win cooperation. Ultimately, it will fully assist Mongolia's economic and social development, traffic relief in the capital area, and local livelihood improvement.
Gantumur Luvsannyam expressed his appreciation for CREC’s performance, brand image and social responsibility fulfillment in Mongolia. He said that Mongolia has broad space for development and improvement in infrastructure construction, and hoped that CREC would actively coordinate and promote the relevant infrastructure construction project plan in Mongolia. At the same time, he hoped that CRIG would maintain effective docking with relevant ministries and commissions of the Mongolian government, deeply participate in cooperation in major projects such as Mongolia's infrastructure construction and energy development, and contribute to the effective improvement of Mongolia's infrastructure level, including the capital's traffic relief.
On the morning of September 19, Bi Yanchun and his delegation paid a visit to Delgersaikhan Borkhuu, Minister of Transport and Development of Mongolia. He briefly recalled Delgersaikhan Borkhuu's pleasant visit to the CREC headquarters. They had in-depth exchanges on specific project’s promotion plans, scheme optimization, and work mechanism establishment, and reached important consensus.
Bi Yanchun said that CREC attaches great importance to the good development opportunities in Mongolia. This return visit to the Ministry of Transport and continued in-depth exchanges on key projects in Mongolia have truly demonstrated the sincere willingness to jointly promote related projects. On the afternoon of September 19, Bi Yanchun and his delegation paid a visit to Shen Minjuan, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia. Bi Yanchun introduced the key completed projects ongoing projects of CREC in Mongolia. Bi Yanchun said that CREC will continue to give full play to its advantages of an entire industrial chain in the field of infrastructure, actively participate in the interconnection between China and Mongolia,. At the same time, it will build overseas projects with high quality, actively fulfill social responsibilities, and further promote local development, so as to contribute to the win-win cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure construction and energy development.
Ambassador Shen Minjuan fully affirmed the contribution made by CREC to the modernization of Mongolia's infrastructure. She hoped that CREC would seize the favorable opportunity of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia to jointly build a community with a shared future, further promote the docking of the Belt and Road Initiative and Mongolia's "Grassland Road" strategy, deeply connect with relevant Mongolian ministries and commissions, actively coordinate with relevant enterprises to jointly promote the implementation of key projects.
